Hidden gem! What a beautiful property, everything was amazing, the food, the rooms, the wines, the staff. So many local wineries within a short distance. Can't wait to return to Valle!

We went down for a quick girls trip for a couple of days. Horacio and the entire staff there were INCREDIBLE. Horacio walked us right up to our room, opened the door and everything, all while telling us about the area and the property itself. Everything we ate was immaculate. All of the wine was absolutely incredible. We wanted to stay longer, but reality was calling. It felt so secluded and private being tucked away off the road. We enjoyed being able to visit multiple wineries in Ruta del Vino. We did a tasting at Surya, and Paulina walked us through the history and making of each wine, where the grapes came from, what type of barrels were used, everything. She was incredible. I cannot wait for another trip. Short, easy 2hr drive from San Diego. Thank you Horacio for a completely memorable stay!

My wife and I just got home from celebrating our one year anniversary in Valle de Guadalupe, and we chose to stay at Surya. With so many great hotel options in the area, we were a bit overwhelmed when trying to decide where to stay. This particular hotel looked great and had great reviews, so we gave it a shot. I’m so glad we did, as it was beyond our expectations. Surya has five-star hotel qualities that I did not see mentioned when I was previously researching, so I’d like to note them here. The entire staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. Anytime we passed through the lobby they were always checking to be sure we were having a great stay. The staff also served us poolside several times throughout our stay - anything from an evening wine to breakfast in the morning. They also delivered our dinner to our room one night. The food at the on-site restaurant was some of the freshest food we had while in Valle. The omelette was especially delicious! Their wine (particularly the Rose and Nebbiolo) was also some of the best we had in Valle. We ended up bringing a bottle of each home! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and very well kept. My favorite was the smell of the orange tree blossoms when entering into the lobby! Amazing. I was honestly expecting this hotel to be larger and a lot busier, but was pleasantly surprised to find it is boutique size, while maintaining resort amenities. Our room was very clean with a modern aesthetic. As two women, we also felt extremely safe staying here. There was a guard at the entrance who let us both in and out of the property every time. The location of this hotel is also very convenient to many other wineries and restaurants. Anytime we return to Valle de Guadalupe, we will definitely be staying at Surya. If you’re on the fence, definitely book it!

Fantastic place to stay. The staff are very welcoming friendly and accommodating. Our room was upgraded upon arrival and was very clean, modern and spacious. The grounds are immaculate and the location is perfect for exploring all the nearby wineries. We loved the pet friendly atmosphere for our pup. Also, the wine offered from this vineyard is outstanding. This hotel will not disappoint. We’ll be back 👌

Our winter holidays vac stay was supposed to be just in the area of Rosarito, I'm glad I broke it up into two places, Valle De Guadalupe. We were in awe with Surya and with the vineyard's whole area. The concierge, Horatio, gave us good info and where to go since it was Navidad and set up a massage session for us. The hotel's rest was fantastic, and the establishment wine.

We had an amazing 3 night staycation in the Valle de Guadalupe. The property is incredible, the staff is very attentive, and it is 100% a place to relax. Right in the heart of wine country and yet an oasis in the middle of it all. We totally recommend Surya and will definitely return.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Surya. The service was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the concrete walls were sound proof. They were gracíous enough to have us check in a few hours early after a long drive that was greatly appreciated. The hacienda style grounds were beautiful and I enjoyed having my coffee on the cobblestone patio after our early morning walk across the vineyard grounds. We will definately return.
